Checkbook Genius has been around since 2009 and has helped thousands of users avoid overdraft fees not just by flagging accounts that are negative, but when they’re getting low. Low balances – you pick what’s “low” – are flagged in yellow, while zero or negative balances are flagged in red. And you can see all your accounts in one handy place!

An easy-to-use interface makes it a snap to enter checks (with automatic check numbering), withdrawals, deposits, and more. If you pay bills online, there’s even a place for you to type in confirmation or reference numbers!

Handle transactions you create on a monthly basis in one of two simple ways. Presets let you specify a payee and an amount, and you can edit a preset any time if changes are needed.
